Autumns Springmeadow Ringlet JH         DOB:10/29/97          White & Liver

NFC Denalisunflos Ring  X  Misty Autumn Joy

OFA: Excellent, PFK: Normal, EYES: Clear

Letty is the foundation female of our Kennels.

(18 1/2" 38lbs.)    "Letty" was my personal gun dog.  She has lots of run, an exceptional nose and an intense desire to retrieve. Letty would rather fetch than eat. I have hunted all types of upland game and early season ducks over Letty and have never lost a shot bird - she is exceptional in the field. Many thanks to Ron Medina of Autumn Kennels for Breeding such a fantastic dog. Letty is a littermate to FC/AFC Autumn Breeze IV and Autumn's Wingmaster Pepper. Pepper has placements in the Amateur Stakes.   Letty has  shown herself a producer of high quality puppies with 3 different sires. Many of her offspring have Field trial and Hunt Test Titles. She also has two daughters that are police dogs - one a drug dog, the other for search and rescue.  She has been in the top 15 on the "Spaniels In The Field Top Dams List".

Letty has been retired but will continue to help take care of the pups.

(19" 36lbs.)  "Sally" is Amanda's dog. The puppies from the first breeding of "Chip and Letty" turned out so nice we repeated it the following year and Sally was Amanda's pick from that breeding. Sally resembles her father "Chip" more than her sister FC/AFC Baskwoods Dolly Madison our pick from the first litter. She has his size and a similar build. Sally is fast when running the field with a flowing running style, another thing she gets from her father. Sally has a great nose and is easy to handle in the field, thanks in part to  Ralph Botti's training. As much as Sally enjoys hunting in the fields; she also loves to "play" Agility with Amanda. Sally has an excellent  temperament, is very sweet and loves to spend time with the family. The puppies she has produced have nice size, are very athletic and are very easy to train. They can become Field Trial, Hunting Test or gundogs as well as wonderful companions.

Scantic River Luke   X   TTF Baskwoods Tater Tot

(23" 70lbs)  "Newlie" is the next link in the Baskwood breeding chain.  She has an odd name because she was born in the backseat of Sandy's truck, on New London Turnpike, on the way to the vets office when her mom Tate was taking a little too long delivering her first puppy. Once the first one was born, the puppies came out every 15 minutes. Newlie was the first born and the first to do everything thereafter. We just couldn't let her go. We have "HIGH HOPES" for her.

Newlie has the most natural upland field ability I have seen in a Labrador.  She runs the field like a Springer. Very fast with a bounce to her run. Newlie quarters naturally and loves to retrieve those birds. She is larger than her mother -Tate- but has the same lovable personality. If she has a fault it is that she wants to be a lap dog.

Newlie is training for waterfowl and upland birds. Her second hunting season went very well with many birds in the bag over her. We look forward to many more with her.

"Aimie" was my pick from Dolly's litter in 2007. She is a black and white version of her mother.  While small like Dolly, she has her mothers intensity in the field but with a little softer temperament. She is exceptionally sweet natured and very biddable. She wants to please soooo badly. Aimie is just starting her field work but so far has shown that she is very focused when quartering the field and is crazy for birds. She has a good nose and is doing very well with her retrieving. Aimie ran with the "big dogs" during hunting season last fall and was just getting warmed up as the season ended.

We hope to have her ready to run in Hunt Tests in the spring of 2008.

"Suzie" is Amanda's pick from Sally's 2007 litter. She has Sally's size, conformation and sweet disposition. Little Suzie, as Amanda calls her, is working on her hunting skills and retrieving. With a little more work she will make a nice gundog.

Stud Dog

FC Crosswinds BG's Last Nantyr        DOB 12/08/1998     White and Liver

FC/AFC Crosswinds King Kong X Winter White Princess

"Llael"  came to our house to retire from Field Trials.  I was looking for a dog to hunt with when the girls were in heat. Boy does he love to hunt. He has the best nose I have seen in a Springer, has incredible desire and bird finding ability. He is also an excellent dog in the house, he loves attention and is very calm. Quite the opposite from his field work. Many thanks to Kevin Battistoni for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful dog.

Baskwoods Striker SH                        DOB: 5/03/2003           White and Liver

FC/AFC Crosswinds King Kong X FC/AFC Baskwoods Dolly Madison

"Striker" is out of Dolly's first litter by FC/AFC Crosswinds King Kong. Striker has his Senior Hunt Test title and is one of the nicest gundogs I have hunted over. He runs the field perfectly and will never come back without a bird on a retrieve. He is also a very handsome dog. Striker's progeny have proven his ability to pass on his best qualities to his puppies.

If you would like more information on Striker please contact Chuck Garen at 860-206-3989

His littermate FC/AFC Crosswinds Ruffian is owned by Kevin Battistoni.
